Ukraine will continue to expand export and trade relations with Turkey and to increase the supply of agricultural products in this country. This was discussed during a meeting of Minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine Taras Kutovoy, Minister of agriculture, food and livestock of Turkey Faruk Celik. The meeting was held on March 14, 2017, in the framework of the official visit of Ukrainian delegation headed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman to the Turkish Republic.
“Turkey is in the TOP 10 of countries with which Ukraine has the greatest turnover: ranks 8th in the export and 3 for import. This country is our reliable and consistent trading partner. Our fruitful cooperation we will not only continue but to strengthen”, — said T. Kutovoi.
For the realization of export potential and expansion of trade relations between Ukraine and Turkey, the agriculture Ministry is holding talks on the facilitation of market access of agricultural products of Turkey in the framework of the Agreement on free trade between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Turkish Republic.
