In the first half of 2018, Ukraine exported goods and services to the EU for $11.2 billion, which is almost $2 billion more than the same period last year. It is known that the results of January-June 2018 Ukrainian agricultural exports amounted to $8.6 billion.
At the end of 2017, the foreign trade turnover of agricultural and food products between Ukraine and Europe increased by 30.8%, or $1.9 billion, and amounted to $8.1 billion.
It is noted that this increase was made possible due to the entry into force of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU. Since then, the EU’s share in Ukraine’s foreign trade has reached 42%.
