Yesterday, August 13, in offshore race of the Cup of Romania, crew of the yacht “Buyan” (captain Albert Kabakov) took the 1st place. Offshore race was conducted on the route Eforia Nord – Mangalia.
Let’s note, that yachtsmen participate in the international regatta of cruising-racing yachts – «International Black Sea Championship-2018». The total length of the race is 575 nautical miles.
According to the results of the first stage, the “Buyan” yacht is on the 2nd place. However, it should be noted that all the most interesting things are yet to come, since from Romania all sailors of the International Regatta will head to Istanbul.
On August 18, the final stage of the race will take place in the Bosporus Strait, where, in addition to Ukrainian and Romanian yachts, about 60 yachts from Turkey will take part.
