On August, 18th the World Championship on sailing in the yacht class Platu 25 has started in the capital of Latvia and gathered more than 200 participants from around the world. Yachtsmen from Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Belarus, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Australia, Thailand and New Zealand came to Riga. One of the crews representing Ukraine is the team of our yacht iGOLka.
The competition, which takes place in the Gulf of Riga at the gate of the Daugava, could be watched by audience from the Mangalsala Mall, as well as from Vanšu Bridge. The end of the tournament is scheduled for August 25th.
We hope that during the awards ceremony we will hear the anthem of Ukraine and will see on the pedestal our Global Ocean Link team!
