The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine (MIU) published on its website the project “Strategy of Steady Logistics and Action Plan for Ukraine” created by the World Bank. This document, on the basis of which the draft of the corresponding normative legal act will be developed, determines the logistics strategy of Ukraine until 2030.
According to the Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan, the strategy of steady logistics should become the main program document, the implementation of which will provide, in particular:
1) realization of logistic potential of the country:
– cheaper services and shorter transit times,
– improving the quality and safety of transport,
– the introduction of European norms;
2) enhancement of multimodality and interaction between different types of transport;
3) maintenance, modernization and expansion of efficient transport and logistics infrastructure;;
4) professional development and training of staff involved in the provision of transport and logistics services;
5) assistance to trade and increase of export potential of Ukraine.
