During the workshop, which was attended by the management of PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” and CTS “Liski”, the administration of the station” Odessa-Port”, as well as representatives of shipping companies, it was decided to implement a project to launch container trains to the Odessa sea port. So, in the near future trains will be launched in the following routes: “Odessa — Dnipro-Liski”, “Odessa — Kyiv-Liski”, “Odessa — Kharkiv-Liski”.
The first pilot project will be the train “Odessa-Dnepr-Liski”, and the other two will be put into effect over time. The train will be sent according to the schedule agreed with all participants of the process (once a week, on Tuesdays). Container terminals SC “CTO” and “BKP” already confirmed their agreement. The expected travel time from Odessa to Dnipro is 22 hours.
