India is interested in investments in Ukraine and Ukrainian exports

First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine — Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv met with the state Minister of Commerce and industry of India Nirmala Seetharaman. About it reports a press-service of the Ministry reports.

During his meeting with Indian counterpart S. Kubiv noted a significant expansion of Ukrainian export opportunities through the implementation of a free trade agreement with the EU and signing free trade agreements of Ukraine with Canada.

“We are working simultaneously in two directions: carry out systemic reforms to improve business conditions in Ukraine and work hard to expand export opportunities for Ukrainian exporters. For investors this is a great opportunity to invest money in Ukraine”, — said S. Kubiv during a conversation with an Indian colleague.

N. Seetharaman, noted the high potential of export opportunities of products produced in Ukraine and stressed the importance of the organization of transport communication between our countries.

“We should work on a good transport corridor from South to North, from ports in India to ports of Ukraine, to provide good accessibility of goods to markets in the EU and the CIS”, — said N. Seetharaman.

The parties also noted the importance of intensifying trade and economic relations between Ukraine and India and the importance of the emphasis on cooperation in the sphere of industry.
