23 December 2016, during a meeting with media representatives, Taras Kutovy announced the forecast of grain exports in the new marketing year. This reports the press service of the agriculture Ministry.
“The January view grain balances is likely to be increased projected corn exports in the 2016/2017 marketing year by 1.3 million tons to 18.5 million t. Therefore, if the preliminary assessment of export at 40.2 million tons, we will add 1.3 million tonnes, then we would get 41.5 million tons,” — said the Minister.
During the meeting the head of the agriculture Ministry has given its comments on the completion of the budget process, the adoption of the law on 1% of agricultural production and effective distribution of funds.
