24 Feb 2017 container ship Alrek (IMO 9330953, flag Antigua and Barbuda) ran aground in the Sea channel in the North Amedee, Holland, reports Lloyd’s list.
The ship was sailing from Velsen South to Sodertalje. The cause of the stranding was off-course during a turning maneuver. To help the ship came the tug Bernardus and Telstar.
A container ship was released on 25 February at 03:00, then went to Klaipeda for inspection.
