The Danish company Blockshipping has developed a unique product – a platform based on the blockchain for the B2B sector, with which it will be possible to monitor 27 million shipping containers worldwide in real time. According to the developers, the Global Shared Container Platform (GCF) will make the key processes in the global container processing more efficient and thus solve the most serious problems in the container transportation industry.
It is expected that the use of new technology will significantly improve the quality of transportation, and the delivery time will be reduced. The goal within the next three to four years is to achieve a 60% market coverage with 16 million container units in the GSCP blockchain registry.
