Starting from April 2018, the Japanese container shipping company Ocean Network Express (ONE) launches a service in Ukraine via subsidiary “Container Terminal Odessa” (SC “CTO”) at the Odessa Sea Port. According to the Executive Director Igor Yarovenko, the agreement on cooperation between the companies has been signed a couple of days ago. Thus, despite the announced transfer of Maersk Line (Denmark) service to the port of Yuzhny, which amounts for about 10% of all containers handled by CTO, the subsidiary will not lose in freight traffic and will increase volumes in 2018.
