According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 479 of June 20 “On the implementation of the pilot project to create conditions for the prevention of evasion of customs payments”, now the police have the right to stay in the customs control zones at checkpoints across the state border and elsewhere in the customs territory Ukraine.
The central objective of the pilot project is to identify the facts of violation of customs regulations. The initiators of this document, in addition to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, are also the Ministry of Finance and the State Fiscal Service.
