The first container train between Kyiv and the TIS Container Terminal in the seaport “Yuzhny” began to run. The new route was opened by the Liski Transport Service Center (a division of “Ukrzaliznytsia” public railway company), the Maersk Line, and TIS Container Terminal Ltd. It is reported that the goods will be delivered from train station Kyiv-Liski to customers in a comfortable time for them. Fifty-six 40ft containers were sent on the first train. The travel time of the container train will be 19 hours.
