Global Ocean Link became a sponsor and participant of the conference «Fat-and-Oil Industry-2017″. Pavel Mirzak, Global Ocean Link associate partner, made a presentation «Export of oilseeds and products of processing in containers. Challenges of the season 2017/2018».
Pavel said that the share of sunflower oil in export container shipments of vegetable oils from Ukraine increased to 90% against 67% a season earlier. The share of shipments of vegetable oils in flexitanks at the end of the season was 73%, bottled oil – 27%. «The export of vegetable oils in flexitanks is still more typical for soybean oil. The share of exports for this product increased in 2016/17 MY up to 89.06% versus 60% a season earlier. Sunflower and rapeseed oil accounted for 4.5% (5%) and 16.42% (13%)», – added expert.
