The Council of the European Union on July 17th approved an increase in the volume of temporary additional trade preferences for the import of Ukrainian agrarian and food products. This decision is aimed at improving the access of Ukrainian exporters to the EU market, taking into account the difficult economic situation and economic reforms undertaken by Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, annual revenues from the export of Ukrainian agricultural products can increase by $ 160 million due to the additional trade preferences of the EU.
