In connection with ice formation and accumulation of ice near the piers, which creates difficulties for safe navigation in the port of Odessa, with the purpose of ensuring the efficient operation of the port, as well as guided n. 9.2.2. “Compulsory resolutions on the seaport of Odessa” and clause 5.2. Order of the Ministry of Infrastructure from 12.03.2011 g. №14 “On approval of the Rules of the ice pilotage”, from 00:00 hours on 18 January 2017 declared ice campaign in the port of Odesa. About it reports a press-service of administration of Odessa sea port.
The corresponding order on this occasion (No. 25A/33-02 from 17.01.2017) was signed by the captain of the port of Odessa Alexander Antonov.
In the Odessa port pilotage and mooring operations in ice conditions provide tug boats of port fleet of SE “Odessa port”.
